Frequently Asked Questions
Products & Quality
What are research peptides?
Research peptides are short chains of amino acids produced for use in laboratory and scientific research. They are supplied as reference materials for qualified researchers and are intended strictly for in-vitro and laboratory study, not for human or veterinary use.
What purity are your research peptides?
Our research compounds are produce to a high quality standard of purity. All of our research compounds meet Precision Aminos minimum standard of 99% purity.
Are your products third-party tested?
Yes. Batches are independently tested by third-party laboratories using HPLC and mass spectrometry to verify purity and identity. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is available so researchers can confirm what they are working with.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A COA is a document from an analytical laboratory that reports the purity and identity of a specific batch. It gives researchers verified data on the compound they receive rather than relying on the label alone.
What form do the research peptides come in?
Most compounds are supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial. Lyophilized powder is stable for storage and is reconstituted with a suitable diluent in the lab when needed for research.
What is bacteriostatic water used for?
Bacteriostatic water is a sterile diluent containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, used in the lab to reconstitute lyophilized research compounds. The benzyl alcohol limits microbial growth, which allows a sealed vial to be used across multiple research draws under proper handling.
How should research peptides be stored?
Lyophilized powder is generally stored desiccated and frozen for long-term stability. Once reconstituted, compounds are typically kept refrigerated and used within a timeframe appropriate to the compound, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Always follow standard laboratory storage practices.
Ordering & Shipping
How do I place an order?
Add the research compounds you need to your cart and complete checkout. Orders are processed for shipment from the United States.
How fast do orders ship?
Orders placed before 12pm EST ship the same business day; orders after the 12pm cutoff ship the next business day. Orders can be expected to be received by customers 3-5 business days after the order is placed.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders above $250 qualify for free domestic shipping anywhere within the United States.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept standard payment methods at checkout.
What is your return policy?
Because these are research compounds, we do not accept returns. We will reship items that are damaged in transit. If items are broken or damaged in transit, our policy is for our customers to email pictures of the damaged items to precisionaminos.support@gmail.com.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not currently ship internationally. Only orders placed within the United States will be shipped.
Research Use & Compliance
Are these products approved for human use?
No. These products have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not approved for human or veterinary use. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They are supplied strictly for laboratory research.
Can I use these products for personal use?
No. All products are sold for laboratory research use only and are not for human consumption or injection. By purchasing, the buyer affirms the products will be used solely for in-vitro research purposes by a qualified professional.
Who can purchase from Precision Aminos?
Our products are intended for qualified researchers and institutional buyers using them for legitimate in-vitro research.
Do you provide dosing or usage instructions?
No. Because these compounds are supplied for laboratory research only, we do not provide dosing, administration, or usage guidance. Researchers are responsible for designing their own protocols in compliance with applicable laws and institutional standards.
Why does the site say “for research use only”?
This reflects the legal status of these compounds. They are reference materials for scientific research, not approved products for human or animal use. The labeling is accurate and applies to every product we sell.
